NMTG started activities in the year 1975. Our Shri Kanubhai Prajapati, being a genius design engineer and quality oriented technocrat by birth, had a strong desire, coupled with innovative ideas, to specialize in design, manufacture and supply of standard and customized precision products to meet specific needs of niche market segment of machinery & equipment and therefore he ventured ahead in to accomplishing his dream.

With three decades of rich experience in this field, NMTG can handle varied and versatile applications on almost all engineering fields – Indian and abroad

NMTG has ISO certificate – ISO 9001 : 2015 and a fully-integrated manufacturing facility - capable of producing high-precision Keyless Transmission Elements, Freewheel - One way Clutches, Holdback Devices, Tensioner Nuts – Tensioner Bolts & Cam Followers / Track Rollers.

NMTG has the ability to manufacture a variety of custom made products. By controlling the entire design and manufacturing process, NMTG guarantees the quality, performance and delivery of the products. Over The Years

1975

Started the partnership firm "National Machine Tool & Equipments - NMT & E". Housed in rented shade to undertake precision job work and earned a good name. After some year became a trusted quality oriented vendor.

1978

Purchased a small shed at K1/2, Phase -1, GIDC Naroda, Ahmedabad. Gujarat. India and started development of high precision Import Substitute Products like Hydraulic Cylinders for ABB–Baroda that are used in Tap Changing Unit of Speed Controller installed in Electric Locomotives,

1983

Dissolved partnership and took over NMT & E as a sole proprietor. Developed another import substitute product like Variable Speed Gear Units for textile plants and Freewheel clutch, Cam Follower, etc. for heavy & medium sized machines and equipment.

1990

Developed another import substituted products like Tensioner Nut & Tensioner Bolt, Verities of Holdback and Keyless Transmission Elements

2004

Introduced CNC manufacturing technology first time in the company,

2006

Purchased a big shed at A/2, Phase-1, GIDC naroda, Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India and systematically enhanced production and testing facilities for above products to cater the increased demands of machine and equipment manufacturers.

2009

NMT & E first time earned prestigious ISO 9001:2008 QMS Certificate,

2011

The proprietary concern NMT & Equipment was incorporated as NMTG Mechtrans Techniques Pvt. Ltd.

2015

Shift all critical operation to CNC machines and introduce 21 more CNC machine including Wire Cut in two adjacent units.

2016

.Develop in-house Production validation Test Lab

2018

Quality Management System has been certified by ISO 9001:2015 TUV Nord.
