NMTG offers Housing Freewheel Clutches designed within cases that use an ideal lubrication method to enable continuous high-speed operation. These Clutches are designed for continuous operation 24 hours a day for a whole year or longer, if required. Continuous drive units are intended for use in continuous overrunning applications where the system cannot be shut down for maintenance and for applications in extremely harsh and dusty environments such as coal handling systems.

Housing Freewheel Clutches are machine elements with particular characteristics:

• There is no contact between the inner and outer race in one direction of rotation; freewheel clutch is in freewheeling mode.
• In the other direction of rotation there is contact between the inner and outer races; High torque transmission is possible in this direction.
